Privacy Policy

 Last updated: August 16, 2026

Mastery – English Composition ("we", "our", "the app") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: if you sign in, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo (if provided) to identify your account and sync your saved content.
  • Content you save: paragraphs, essays, and other writing topics you bookmark or generate, stored so you can access them later.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, topics searched, and general app interactions, used to improve the library and your experience.
  • Device and advertising data: device identifiers and general usage information collected by our advertising partner to show relevant ads.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to operate and improve the app, sync your saved and AI-generated content across sessions, respond to feedback, and display advertising that helps keep the app free.

3. Third-Party Services

We use Firebase (Google) for authentication and cloud storage, and StartApp for advertising. These providers may collect information under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

4. Local Storage

Some content, including your favorites and AI-generated writing topics, is cached locally on your device so you can access it offline. Removing an item from your saved list permanently deletes any locally generated content associated with it.

5. Your Choices

You may log out at any time, delete saved items from your library, or request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us using the details below.

6. Children's Privacy

The app is intended for students and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
